I started my business with the simple concept that my father gave me. “Do what you love and if you have a vision …Go For It!”

That was in 1989 and through this time my vision has developed through my love for this community, but also for the guests that pass through these doors daily.

I was a one-person salon and realized that I needed to be more involved in the downtown activities in New Wilmington.  I purchased and renovated a building that used to be an old grocery store,  opened The Wright Place, and had three other businesses join me at the location.

Through my personal training with the John Paul Mitchell systems, I realized that I could make a difference in the world.  The salon is a hub for information, professionalism, personal training and personal growth for not only our staff, but for all of our guests.

My vision is to have a salon that people can relax and enjoy their time, but also know that the quality of service is the highest artistic level.
